Nils Hooftman is the T&E’s leading expert on truck CO₂ regulations and a long-standing advocate for zero-emission logistics. With over a decade in the field, he works to accelerate Europe’s transition to cleaner freight through effective policy and innovations.

Nils focuses on the Total Cost of Ownership for electric trucks and conducts Life Cycle Assessments of low-carbon alternatives. His research and advocacy help shape the future of sustainable transport and reduce the environmental impact of logistics across Europe.
