BIOGRAPHY

Andrew Cruden is a Professor of Energy Technologies in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southampton. An electrical engineer by background, he brings expertise across electric vehicles, energy storage, and renewable energy systems.

Andy leads a five-year EPSRC Programme Grant valued at £6.6m, entitled Future Electric Vehicle Energy Networks Supporting Renewables, known as FEVER. Based in Europe, his work focuses on how future EV energy networks can actively support renewable integration across evolving grid infrastructure.
